The Supreme Court after having annoyed enough, shifts the Muzaffarpur shelter home case to Delhi on Thursday. The SC slammed the Bihar government heavily and ordered the case to be handed immediately to Delhi for “ a free and fair trial” to be conducted.

Supreme Court bashed the careless attitude of Bihar government and said, “ Enough is enough. Children can’t be treated like this. You cannot let your officers to treat children this way. Spare the children”.

The top court further ordered the trial to be shifted from Bihar to Saket district court in the capital and asked the judge to complete the trial within six months.

“The transfer of trial in Muzaffarpur shelter home out of Bihar is needed to ensure free and fair trial in the case,” the court said.

The SC warned the state government that it will summon the chief secretary if the state fails to give all information related to the case.

The court also instructed the government to be ready to answer its questions by 2 pm today. “We are not running the government and we are asking you how you are running the government. We are entitled to know,” SC said.

The court slammed CBI and Centre for the transfer of a CBI officer without its permission. The court said that it amounts to violation of its order as it had directed that no officer in the case shall be shifted.
